We've been to Gentry's in the past and were looking forward to stopping in again. We were one of three groups dining, perhaps that should have been a clue that things were traveling south, but we pushed on. Our waitress was the bright spot in our experience, very polite and attentive. We all had the house salad. The dressing was too oily and lacked flavor. My husband got the New England clam chowder that used to be amazing, again no flavor. Our entrees were much the same. Fettucini alfredo was bland. The prime rib looked and tasted like it had been hit by a warmer. Medium rare was a medium or a med-well. Again, very bland. The food wasn't horrible, but nothing to write home about. We miss the Gentry's of old.
