We always get great friendly service from all the staff.

Some of the rooms are a bit on the small side but they are clean and well decorated with very comfortable beds. They do a really good buffet breakfast.

On the banks of the River Thames has great views and is close to shops, restaurants etc. its a comfy, feel-at-home hotel. It's 4 minutes walk to the bus station and close to other transport links

Good hotel spoilt by lack of car parking space.... alternative pay and display car park next to the hotel required getting up at 0715 hrs on a Sunday morning to put a valid ticket on the car ... not relaxing !

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay apart from the car park. As advertised on our website we have 30 car park spaces at our hotel and guests can park at the paid car park next door.

Upon your next visit pleae ask member of front desk team who will renew the parking ticket in the morning on your behalf.

Kind regards,

Once you find the hotel and get past its rather unappealing exterior the rooms are comfortable and the communal bar and restaurant extremely pleasant with views over the river. Rooms are well soundproofed - we had a river view which was worth the extra - and had most of what was needed. Evening set menu excellent value but breakfast overpriced although good selection and quality. Staff friendly. Would stay again, but London prices so look for offers.

My girlfriend and I stayed here just for the one night after finding a deal for 2day passes to thorpe park and 1 night b&b for £135. Great location for Thorpe Park as its about a 5minute drive and saves a fortune compared to the crash pad "hotel" on the thorpe park site. The hotel was clean and very well presented. Great value for money when you consider what we paid. Its right on the river thames with the bar and restaurant facing out onto it and chairs and tables outside for a summers evening. Just along the river on the other side is the Swan pub/hotel which is also really nice for a drink or meal. Dont bother with the slug and lettuce - great location but not a clean table in sight!

Only downside was a slight issue with the room we were in. Room 16 seemed to be a family room with the adjoining door to the room next door. Bit of a strange moment at 12midnight when the curiosity of the occupant in that room got the better of him/her and they tried the handle to our room. Could literally hear everything. TV, alarms, opening and closing of bags and packaging and even the use of bathroom facilities. Not pleasant for us and by the sounds of things for him/her either! Sent an email and await a response.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the river or youll be facing the main road. Also there is no lift to rooms upstairs. Oh, and make sure youre not in room 16!

Nice hotel with a lovely terrace that over-looked the river. My sons and I were down for the weekend for the golf at Wentworth. Arrived at 8.30 and the hotel car park was full. It was recommended that we park in the lot next door and this cost £12.00. Not happy about that. Hotel was clean and functional although the reception staff could have been more helpful and friendly. The internet connection was absolutely rubbish, couldn't even use it in the end. My neighbour must have fallen asleep watching the TV as it was quite audible to my room at 4.00 in the morning. I'd go back but would expect improvements.
