We were there on a Tuesday night. It was crowded but we snagged two seats at the bar. Our server, Brian, was friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was a veal chop for my hubby and the mussels for me. Our meals with a bottle of wine and salads came to under $100 with tip. You could go less expensive, if you wanted.

I almost hate to review Tallulahs because I fear it will get more crowded . But , fair is fair !
The food is very unusual for Glens Falls --it is real food cooked from scratch and cooked with care . They have a regular menu and specials . We've eaten there numerous times and never had a bad experience . Those few cranky reviews complaining about the service or the table miss the mark . The food really is excellent and the waitstaff try to oblige . Maybe some people arriving with downstate arrogance get a cold shoulder ? who knows ? But when almost every restaurant in Glens Falls is serving frozen food from a box shipped from Nebraska , Tallulah's is blessed comfort and nice eating .The only negative I can think of is that many dishes come with brussel sprouts that are tired -not too fresh --and bitter .So , other than those bitter balls , enjoy the food .

We love the Tallulah's experience. We have been back a number of times. The food is a fantastic mix of eclectic cajin dishes. The service has was great, wine selection very nice, and a great romatic atmosphere. We especially like the option of getting smaller portions, which leaves room for dessert. We think it is a great addition to downtown Glens Falls.

We enjoyed the food but the service was average and we were seated in the back near the kitchen. The tables are practically on top of each other along the wall.
The restaurant was getting a lot of hype in 2009 when we went there but the actual experience did not live up to high expectations.
