One of the best beaches i've been to anywhere. Torquoise water, white sand, gentle rollers and mid 20's water temprature.. Not too crowded. Food at the only restaurant not flash and expensive only dampener. Spend a lovely day here, but cover up, the sun is fierce.

… for me, I like swimming and there you can, even if there are quite big waves. The beach is very clean (as the most on Seychelles are) and it had just a few people on the beach.

This big beach is perfect for swimming, although do heed the strong currents. Easily accessible by bicycle, with a small restaurant. A nice day out and you can hike on a beautiful pathway to Petit Anse and Cocos Anse - no guide necessary.

In December the waves are big but not currents there. So you can play in waves. Very funny.
One day I see group of topless women-tourists they have fun frolicing in waves. As I understand locals are rather tolerant to such things.

From the port to this beach - it was a 20-25 minute leisurely bike ride. When we got there it was an amazing sight. Very nice beach, and not very crowded. The waters can be rough depending on the time of year and certainly when we went the waves were quite large so not very good for swimming. There is a restaurant nearby offering buffet food and cold drinks.

There is a hiking path from this beach which takes you to Petit Anse and then onto Anse Coco
