Nice spacious and clean apartment on La Digue, Seychelles. They have a big and well equipped kitchen (with a good fridge) and a disent bathroom. As much hot wather as we wanted. Nice porch for breakfast and afternoon relaxing. Biking It`s an efficent way to get around. Rent a bike at the reseption and you may explore the island. The main supermarket on the island is 2min north. The Villa Creole is great value for mony.
One or two days is not enough to discover and enjoy this island. Many people stay longer at the island, Praslin, but I would recomend 50/50 split. We stayed for almost a week on La Digue.
Villa Creole has a perfect location 5min bikeride from Anse Source D`Argent and another 5minutes from the harbour. The beach is beautiful, with some incredible nice suncets. It is very shallow, so not suiteable for snorkling. When low tide you might walk for 10minutes to reach the coral wal and drop off. For snorkling/diving I would recomend a trip with a local boat out from the harbour to Coco & Felicite. We encountered turtles, eaglerays and many beautiful fish. Most of the coral are destroyed. They blamed it on earlier storms, but we saw ancors demolish while snorkeling.
The island of La Digue is remote and you might have trouble getting your hands on chips, snaks, icecream etc... Might be a good idea to bring some of your favourite snack :)
The pizzeria by the supermarket is good, but If you seek fine dining and a perfect evening - the perfect place is Le Domaine de L`Orangerie. The bufè was amazing with a wast selections of delicious foods and even sushi.
