“Great Brunch!”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

My friends and I were there for a tasting and decided to have brunch. What a wonderful decision! It was great! We received two nice surprises: 1. mimosa's, to start the meal; 2. chocolate covered strawberries to finish the meal. Not one thing to complain about. The food and service were wonderful! So much to choose from!

“Wonderful Sunday Brunch!”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

The perfect spot to meet our Western New York friends. Belhurst is a destination on its own, with beautiful lakeside grounds, and a spectacular building with wonderful detailing and stye.
Our Sunday Brunch was delicious, well stocked, fresh, and just a great "Brunch" with great breakfast and dinner options. Although they were really busy, we neer felt rushed, and were well taken care of.

This one is a keeper!

“Absolutely Superb!”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

We shared the Wine Pairing Seasonal Dinner - Chocolate for February and March.
Orgasmic!
$80 a person for a fantastic 6 course meal with 6 glasses of wine. Worth every penny, and actually cheaper than many other wine pairing dinners we have attended (and better!!!).
While all 6 courses and their paired wines were amazing, I cannot stop drooling and dreaming of the Seared Diver Scallop over White Chocolate Risotto.
Heather is extremely skilled in her knowledge of wine and her ability to match the wine to the most interesting dishes the chefs make.
This is a yearly trip for us, planned specifically around this meal.
Thank you so very much for a great evening.

“spectacular venue, attention to detail”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

The prix fix menu was a great value. Each course was well prepared, well presented and delicious.
The soup a clam and corn chowder was delicious but a little on the salty side.
Nice fresh salad with lots of fresh leafy greens.

My husband had the pork selection and I had the free range chicken over forest mushrooms, doesn't that just sound mouth watering? It was!
Our waitress, Sandy, was attentive, effiecent and friendly.

“Colossal disappointment”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Took our party of seven adults to celebrate a birthday with the Sunday Brunch. The selection of foods was extensive, but for every dish that we thought was quite good there was another that was equally poor. The quiche had obviously sat in the warmer for a very long time it was dry and stuck to the pan, a number of the salad greens were noticeably slimy. The pasta salad was mentioned as bleh by more than one person. There was a long blonde hair in one of our guests fruit (he sports a buzz cut). The muffin was dry. The scrambled eggs had gotten crusty and there was so much cooking oil used to lubricate the pan at the omelet station that the gal who ordered it said it made it inedible. The desserts included were fair to poor most of us didn't even take one. There was one chafing dish with a brownie concoction that sounded delicious but, was almost empty and looked like it had been there too long that I peaked at when I first got salad. This same pan sat there for our entire meal, I noticed when I returned for dessert, hoping there would be a fresh batch.
They did bring out a delicious piece of pie for the birthday guest. Other good choices were the pork, the fish, the waffles, the potato salad and the breakfast potatoes.
For $24.95 there was a huge assortment and with breakfast beverages included it would have been well worth it had the food been good. Our server was sweet and mostly on top of the service, but they added a 18% gratuity for our party of seven and IT'S A BUFFET, for heaven's sake. The place is also beautiful, really something to see, but really we wouldn't go there again, at least not for brunch.
