We had a great experience at this restaurant... The atmosphere, food, and service made it a lovely evening. The four course dinner was excellent, and served in just the right amount of time. An excellent choice for dinner

Atmosphere - excellent

This is what fine dining is all about, and don't let anyone tell you different - head and shoulders above anything in the area.

“Don't Stop For Lunch!”
Reviewed August 21, 2006

My wife and I were touring the Seneca Lake wineries last week when we came upon "Geneva On The Lake" with a sign out front stating "Open For Lunch, 12 to 2PM". Since we were both hungry, we decided to stop for lunch and believe me, it was the "Biggest" mistake of our trip. All of the day's lunch offerings(and there were not many choices) cost the same, $16. We both ordered the tenderloin sandwich which also came with a side of fruit but no fries or chips. We each also ordered one iced tea .The extremely small portion of tenderloin was anything but and was very overcooked. It came on a french type toasted roll which was literally so stale that we could not even cut it with a steak knife. The best part of the meal was the fruit cup, or should I say fruit thimble since the portion was so small. They did have a capuccino iced coffee on the menu for an astounding $13 a cup but we passed on that. Even Starbucks doesn't charge that much. Also, the service was extremely slow and obviously consisted mainly of local college kids, with untidy uniforms, working there part-time. After spending nearly $45 for lunch, we both left this place feeling not only hungry but also wondering whoever rated this establishment 4 diamonds.
