We've stayed at this property several times and we absolutely LOVE everything about it! From the moment you check in you're greeted by friendly and helpful staff who are always willing to do whatever they can to make your stay a good one. We particularly love Jenelle at the front desk - she is phenomenal and deserves a raise!!
The rooms here are extremely clean and spacious. We always stay on the first floor in the rooms that face the lake (Seneca Lake). The beds are very comfortable and the amenities are plenty.
The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast buffet - the very best we've ever had at any hotel! It's a simple buffet, but there are so many different choices of foods and beverages; something for everyone! They also have an "on the go" option for people who can't/don't want to participate in the buffet. This option includes a bottle of water, a piece of fruit and a granola-type bar - all packaged in a bag.
The pool and spa at this property are well maintained and very clean. It's nice that they try to keep small children out of the spa so that adults can enjoy it without having kids splashing and kicking you.
There are several different restaurants that the hotel staff can recommend, and they even have a list that they'll give you. Take their recommendations because these people know what they're talking about!
On two occasions, we stayed here when a wedding party was also staying here. Both times, the people from the wedding were loud and/or causing noise issues. The hotel staff was very responsive to our calls to the front desk and immediately took care of the issues. They were very apologetic to us about these people and even took the extra step of giving us one of our nights for free, due to the inconvenience. We never asked for this, nor did we expect it, but it was a very nice thing to do.
We will definitely stay here again and we continually recommend this property to everyone we know or meet!

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Geneva NY for one night on June 27th as I was down in the area training for the Musselman Half ironman race.

Checked in on a Sunday aftenoon and the front desk girls were very friendly and accomodating. We asked for a first room because we had all ur gear and bikes and it was no issues.

The rooms are average size, comfortable beds with nice LCD Tv's and a mini fridge - which was great as we had lots of food and drinks to keep cold.

Front desk was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant for dinner. In the morinings, they have a self servebreakfast in the main lobby area. Waffles, pastries, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices. Everything you need to start your day and all included in your room rate.

Because we were training for the day and would be back mid afternoon (after check-out) we asked for a later checkout so we could shower and it was no problem.

No complaints for a one night stay holiday :)

This was our first Hampton stay, usually use Best Western, Comfort Inn and Holiday inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and modern inside and out. The room was well appointed for the price and we found the beds and linens much to our liking. The breakfast bar was as good or better than most.
There is a decent Italian restaurant across the street and a real good local hamburger joint just a couple hundred feet more.
Now, about the train. This hotel has train tracks on the north and south sides. Trains come through slowly at least 3 times a day or night. At the crossing just beyond the parking lot on the south side is a traffic gate. The trains blow their horn from a very little to a whole lot. We stayed on the south side (north side tracks seemed to have no trains) of the hotel and this something you may consider. I always travel with earplugs so that solved the problem.
I found our room rate of $144 (AAA) plus tax a bit high for an area like Geneva with no big event going on, but we still feel that we got our monies worth.

Room Tip: North side rooms should recieve less train horn noise I'd guess.

Stayed one night each way on our trip back/forth to Toronto. Great location 5 miles off the NY Thruway and at the tip of Seneca Lake. Sure the train tracks are there but they are freight lines and, besides, we have them a quarter mile from our house so would have been used to any trains. Only saw one and that was a short guy at about ten cars. Decent breakfast with assorted hot/cold items. For our first stay (#110), there was a fridge; for the second stay (#315) no fridge. However, staff were very accommodating and took our ice packs and froze them for us to pick up at c/o. Great for us since it was to be in the 90s that day and we wanted to keep our water bottles cooled. Entire c/i process both times was smooth. Booked it all online and no glitches. Rate was higher than the value and/or decor provided. I would have expected something in the $125 range; we paid $160. However parking was free and there was a free public use computer in the lobby. Would stay there again. Staff very cordial and helpful.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn while touring the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. It was consistent with most Hampton Inns; easy check-in, clean comfortable room, decent (but not great) breakfast. This Hampton Inn has an indoor pool and jacuzzi. It is near a busy road and some truck noise was apparent during the early morning hours.
This Hampton was pricier than most, perhaps because of the vacation season in the Finger Lakes.

This was a nice stay. We were in town for a family wedding. The room was on the small side. We weren't guaranteed our room for our entire stay but it ended up opening up so it all worked out. Friendly staff. We would stay again in the event we need a hotel in the area. convienent location to downtown and lake.
