Owner description: Billsboro Winery is committed to crafting dry classic European varietal wines grown by Seneca Lake’s best vineyards. We are dedicated to focusing on small scale production, allowing us to devote more attention to providing a high quality product for our customers. Our commitment to quality is evident both in the glass and the experience we provide in our tasting room.

We were the only patrons. It is housed in a small building. Our server was very knowledgable and enjoyed educating us on the wines. She knew answers to our questions and took quite a bit of time with us. The 4 of us were very impressed. We bought billsboro wine glasses and bottles of wine. We will most definitely return!

I have been all over the Finger Lakes wine trails. Do not pass on Billsboro. It is smaller, but much better, friendlier service than the bigger names. The wines were excellent but unfortunatly, they do not ship.

A little tasting room for a vineyard located on the other side of Seneca Lake, this was one of our favorite stops. Try the Myranda cheese tray with your tasting, yum!

Billsboro wines are tasty, reasonably priced, and who can resist the walkout barn basement tasting room? Knowledgeable staff to guide you through the not-too-long tasting. Lovely terrace outside on the south & a deck on the west. Winemaker Vinny is also the winemaker at Atwater (near Watkins Glen) - this is his personal operation. Nominal fee for tasting. Some snacks available for tasting, or bring your own picnic.

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend on Seneca Lake enjoying the wineries. Billsboro was by far our favorite. Billsboro is off the beaten track a bit, so it wasn't as crowded and crazy as some of the other wineries at the bottom of the lake. Although it was Mother's Day, and they were hosting an event, they were more than happy to accomodate us. The lady who was helping us with our tasting was extremely knowledgable and helpful. When she didn't know the answer to some of our questions, she made sure she got us an answer from a few of the other employees. The wines were delicious, and absolutely some of our favorites. I have already sent a few of my family members up to visit this particular winery. We will definitely be returning.
