We decided that the Sunday before New Year's to go with good Friends on a beer tasting. First Stop 2 Doves in Canandaigua....great people making wonderful beer. Our designated driver then advised us we should stop in Geneva for lunch. Good old tripadvisor sent us to Beef and Brew on Main Street. Wonderful Beef sandwiches and Superb local beer offerings. Not a fancy place but clean and had a great old fashioned pub feel. Onto Wagner's Brewery and finally to Twin Goats Brew Pub where our honorable DD was able to have a beer because we were two minutes from our destination.

Once again a visit to a "City" in transition. This establishment is clean and spacious. It was pretty empty at the time we visited (1145am) on a saturday, we were seated promptly and the server was prompt and cheerful. Our drinks were good and the food was hot and tasty, Grilled cheese and mashed potatoes, try that on, deep fried calamari as an appetizer, and I had a beef dish in gravy with a little blue cheese sprinkle in a small crock with a philo topping. Interesting combinations but nothing earth shattering. A little pricey. Its okay. P.S. we had the wobbly table.

Four of us went for lunch. It was quiet about 2pm. Had great homemade soup. A huge drink menu and lunch menu. We all had sandwiches that were great and great service too. Reasonable prices.

Based on the other reviews, we stopped here for lunch on a recent trip. It was a good decision! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the beer and cheddar soup - it was delish! I had the steak sandwich which is steak served on a toasted sub roll with grilled onions, crumbled blue cheese and au jus. The steak was so tender, it melted in my mouth! Nice beer selection. We're looking forward to our next trip through Geneva!

Good food topped off with a pitcher of beer. Good clean restaurant would recommend to anyone. Only suggestion is to fix lopsided tables. Napkins and sugar packs don't cut it. No one wants to eat with their table moving back and forth
