Lots of atmosphere, great service. The choices are basically appy's, soup, salads and sandwiches. Our group had a Turkey Burger (Yum), Pulled Pork (you may not want your slaw on the sandwich), Crab Salad (loved it), penne pasta with peas; all are recommended. Try the house wine "Golden Pheasant".

“Lunch and a view”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

Located on the edge of Seneca lake, this low key restaurant at Belhurst Castle is comfortable and scenic. We selected the tenderloin tip fondue appetizer while continuing to review the menu for the rest of our lunch. We opted for the suggested wine pairing with the fondue. We admit to not being fond of Finger Lake wines but this red, Manitou from the Belhurst winery, was one of the better ones we have had. When our appetizer arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food on the plate and were quick to decide that we would not need any thing else for lunch. As we watched a snow squall move down the lake in our direction, we enjoyed a pleasant lunch served by attentive staff and were warm all over.

“a November 2013 afternoon”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

Our experience there was excellent and we are venturing back soon! The service there was very good and the meal very tasty. The two of us enjoyed our experience there and the options to choose from on the menu were extremely abundant. Our view of Seneca Lake was extremely well viewed from there. We will return to see if we over rated it or it was what we experience. A good meal with good service and a very good attitude from all we had contact with.

“Nice atmosphere, great service, good food”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

Went to Stonecutters on a Friday night. All tables were full but we were there for drinks as well so sitting at the bar was fine. Bartender was great. Didn't want to eat a huge meal early evening so ordered appetizers for entree but it was more than enough. Tenderloin tips melted in my mouth. Delicious!! Came with with onion chips, garlic bread and cheese fondue. Awesome.

“Perfect Service with a Smile”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

My husband and I ate here one night during our weekend get away. We were going to go to Edgars but decided to cut costs a little and visit Stonecutters. The menu was nice, there were many options to choose from, and they all looked and sounded great. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and crispy. I had a pasta dish and my husband had a sandwich. We were both very full, too full for dessert which was the only down side to the whole experience.
The gentleman serving us was the only server for the whole room and initially I was concerned we wouldn't get good service but those concerns were quickly dashed. Our water glass never went past a 1/3 full before being refilled, and he checked on us regularly.
The atmosphere here is perfect, it is casual but not a "diner" it is the perfect balance of comfort and elegance.
