Great first impression . Jennifer is a great host. Diane was a great cook. They both were so down to earth they felt like my sisters. We will definatally be back.We recommend Dr Hoskins Study. Let Jennifer take you on the wine tour you won't be sorry.

The number 1 B&B in popularity in Geneva is well deserved. We concur with all of the fine sentiments expressed by other travellers especially regarding the personality of Jennifer who is one of the most personable and erergetic innkeepers on the planet. There is really nothing else to add except perhaps that the central heating system could use some help. On a cold night in late October, the impressive radiators produced a modicum of warmth. This situation was remedied by the presence of an excellent space heater. However, it is advised to check with Jeniffer on which outlets should be used to avoid tripping a circuit breaker.

  • Liked — The personality of the innkeeper and the overall comfortable feel and decor of the public and private rooms.
  • Disliked — The heating and electrical systems need an upgrade

Cheers to Jen and Diane...!

We arrived with two dear friends and left with four...The Bragdon House was truly an incredible experience...Jen was a gracious host and her mom, Diane, a fun source of entertainment. We enjoyed the incredible accommodations and food and appreciated Jen's expertise and sense of humor, as she chauffeured us around the wineries...but even more important...

"WHAT IS BETTER THAN TO SIT AT THE END OF THE DAY AT THE BRAGDON HOUSE AND DRINK WINE WITH FRIENDS...OR AT THE BEGINNING"

We are looking forward to the next time we visit the Finger Lakes and The Bragdon House...

Mark and Clare

The Bragdon House was a wonderful place to stay- charming rooms, beautiful decor, excellent food and a fabulous location. Jennifer (we didn't get to meet her mom) was a fabulous host - energetic, positive, enthusiastic. She gave us excellent suggestions for wineries to see and restaurants to eat at in the area. We followed all her recommendations and they were spot on - thank you Jennifer. We will definitely come back, bring some friends and go on one of Jennifer's wine tours!

For my mother-in-law's 50th birthday, she decided that what she wanted was some relaxing and fun time with her kids. So she rented out the Bragdon House B&B, and that's exactly what she got. The house and all of the rooms were so charming, as was the screened in porch, which became a great place for the six of us to get together and chat throughout the day. The view from the upstairs room my husband and I stayed in was just perfect, especially in the morning as we watched the sun rise over the lake from our bed. But perhaps the most romantic part of our stay was when my mother-in-law and father-in-law surprised us all and renewed their vows on the back porch overlooking the lake. Jen was so accommodating and genuinely excited about this wonderful surprise. We couldn't have asked for a better host.

During our stay, we all went on a winery tour with Jen and had a fabulous time. Jen took us to some great wineries and gave us as much or as little time as we wanted at each place. I should also mention that she took us to the wineries that specialized in the type of wines we enjoyed, rather than just going to every winery we passed down the road. This personal attention was greatly appreciated and it made our day more enjoyable. In fact, it was one of our favorite parts of the weekend!

I highly recommend the 1907 Bragdon House B&B to anyone, young or old, looking for a relaxing, comfortable, warm getaway. I know we'll be coming back again!

My wife and I have stayed in many a B&B, and as a result we've had some good experiences and some not so good. A stay in Bragdon House is what all B&Bs should be like. Friendly, welcoming, informative, fun-loving hostesses (Jennifer and her Mom, Diane) who make you feel immediately like family. A stately home decorated in a warm, eclectic manner, topped off with a spotless room, comfortable beds, and a freshly-prepared breakfast. The added bonuses are a second-story screened porch with marvelous views of Seneca Lake. (You can also watch the sun and moon rises over the lake from the window of the Betty room). There are two sunggly cats and two friendly dogs to welcome you when you return from touring the Finger Lakes. The B&B is within close walking distance to restaurants, and Geneva is centrally located for touring the area wineries. Which, if you just want to enjoy to the max without worry, Jennifer offers a guided tour. All in all, a memorable stay that we highly recommend.

We stayed at the 1907 Bragdon House over Labor Day weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The bed was very comfortable; we didn’t want to wake up. Breakfast was very delicious each morning. My husband is a picky eater, but they were accommodating and he enjoyed the meals as well.

There is a screened in porch, which overlooks the lake. It had a nice view and we enjoyed sitting out there during our stay. It was a nice spot to relax, read a book, and drink some wine.

The cats and dog were very friendly. Being and animal lover and not having any pets at the moment, I enjoyed their company.

We went on two wine tours with Jennifer during our stay. It was great! We got to enjoy the scenery too. We saw a variety of good wineries in the area without worrying about driving between them. Jennifer knew some good wineries to visit and had some tips/ recommendations for them too. She also knew some places to stop and eat while doing the tastings and we were able to snack in the vehicle between the wineries. This was very helpful since we went to a lot of wineries.

We had such a fabulous time that we would definitely go back to the next time we vacation in this area. We definitely recommend this place to stay and have been telling our friends and family about it. If this is your first time going to a B&B don’t worry, you will have a good experience if you stay here.
