“end of a perfect day”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

this was a surprise... we'd attended a movie ("42") at the adjacent Genesee Mall Cinema and while intending to eat elsewhere, the Big Tree, actually, we discovered this place... nice setting, wonderful service although there WERE problems with the men's room, one device crime-scened and the other working inadequately... hope we haven't spoiled dinner... we had grape leaves, hummus, lemon chicken and the nearly unique lamb meatballs over what seemed like a house specialty, spinach rice... everything was fine although the pie, taken out, did not appear home-made (we'd sit still for correction on this)... except for the lavatory inadequacy, we saw none of the detriments mentioned in the next review... somebody have a bad day? or were we just lucky? in any event, we would not hesitate to make our mark here, although we'd have sworn it said "Omega Café," which reminded us of a long-gone Buffalo haunt, the flamboyant "Jew Murphy's Omega Café"... oh, it seems capable, too, of handling large parties, whether at a 20-person table or in a secluded rear room

“Skip this place!”
Reviewed March 12, 2013 via mobile

The Omega needs a serious over haul. It is grimy and dirty. Needs a complete clean up. I had an egg sandwich that was such a small egg it barely fit half of the bread. Ugh is all I can say. The parking lot curb greets you with cigaret butts.

“Food Food Diner Atmosphere”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

Our family of 8, aged 2 to 66, had a lovely dinner at the Omega Restaurant. The casual diner experience coupled with good food was just what we were looking for. Both Greek and non-Greek food choices were very good. The children's menu offered appropriate choices that were truly enjoyed by the kids.

“Great for breakfast. Home cooked meals”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

Delicious and inexpensive breakfasts. We especially like the Greek style omlets and Greek potatoes. Home cooked food.

“Loved it. Good eats, good value”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

Marquee outside says Omega Grill but I've seen it on the web as Omega Restaurant.

This is a small family-friendly diner type restaurant with two dining rooms. The service was friendly and attentive, food was delicious, the portions were big and reasonably priced. Booths and tables available.

I'm a pretty good eater and the portion of food was more than adequate. I ordered the pork chop dinner which had soup, salad, 2 chops, applesauce, a heemongous pile of the really good Greek potatoes. No room for desert, darn

It is located in a strip mall with a movie theater, and is about a block from the Quality Inn on the same side.
