This is a newer hotel and it still has that "new car smell". The rooms were clean and very nice. Every staff member we saw said hi and talked to us. The front desk staff was very helpful with planning our day in Letchworth State Park. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn one, and it was all very good. The place is very modern and nicely decorated. I wish it was closer to the middle of the Finger Lakes so we could have stayed here all week long.

Room Tip: The room we were in had a shower and no tub. If you need a tub ask if there are any available. I...

Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, water pressure was fine. What more do you need, except perhaps reading lamps on both sides of the bed, but otherwise the place was superior. Only complaint was early morning vibration in the room that could have been the elevator. One of the better breakfasts of this type with lots of choices, and it was in a large room so no waiting for a table. Friendly employees as well. Visit the quaint main street in this town if you get a chance, and great examples of victorian residential architecture abound. Also nearby is Letchworth State Park, which is quite nice, with a large (eastern type) canyon.

Room Tip: get a room away from the elevator. good for seeing local colleges.

This is the 4th time we have Stayed here. We have never had a problem. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. I know I will continue to stay here as long as my son is a student at SUNY Geneseo. Staying here is a no brainer.

During a visit to the college with our soon to be Senior, we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Geneseo. We were met by Katie Zobel at the front desk when we arrived. She is the Asst General Manager and was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had never been there before and weren't taking the college tour until the next day, so we needed activity and restaurant recommendations for the rest of the afternoon and evening. She spent a lot of time with us going over all the options. We wound up going across the street to Walmart and buying cheap swimming suits so we could take advantage of the nice indoor pool. This hotel is only a year old, and is spotless and well managed. You can't go wrong.

My family and I stopped in Geneseo on our way home from Boston and we were greeted by Jon C. at the front desk when we arrived. Jon offered us suggestions about hiking trails at Lecthworth State Park and asked if we were planning on dining locally. He offered us several suggestions for dinner and even called to make reservations for us while we settled in. He told us about things to do and see locally and made sure our room was comfortable. The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The pool was beautiful and breakfast offered options that satisfied all of us. We would not hesitate to return.

The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. all amenities provided. the staff was very pleasant and helpful. My husband asked the front desk about a nearby attraction and the desk provided a brochure, map, and hand written directions. The indoor pool was well maintained and very clean. The breakfasts provided were served until after 10:00 am and had different hot foods daily including bacon, eggs etc. This was definitely the best free breakfast I've ever had from a hotel. I would highly reccommend staying here for your trip to this area!

The only down side was the air vents were slightly noisy, but I would describe the noise as bothersome. Didn't even notice when sleeping.
