This is the third (?) different restaurant/deli trying to make a go in this space in the past few years. Its a cute place- and really the only convenient place to stop on Rt 9D in Garrison if you are going from Boscobel or the Garrison Landing back to Peekskill. The current owner has added some outside seating, and made the inside a little more comfortable.
The food is good- just a little on the pricey side. I had a scoop of chicken salad and a roll and it came to $8.00. Kind of surprised me (especially since there wasn't a price on it.) But since that first visit, I have focused on the premade or $6-$7 sandwiches and they have been fine. This is not a deli with poor quality food, iceberg lettuce and nitrate filled lunch meats; and for good food, you need to pay. Its an easy in and out stop if you want something quick. If your destination is Cold Spring, there are other options, but for Garrison, this is just fine. I highly recommend it.
