Has a wonderful lunch with my college age son and 87 year old mom. Food and atmosphere were a huge hit with all three generations.(many times difficult to accomplish) Looking forward to return when the weather is warmer and the patio is open.

The setting is quaint and authentic. I have had delicious lunches and the service is excellent. I find lunch the best as dinners with a family group can be pricey. Menu choices are varied. I will go again and again.

The old fashioned, dark, hefty wood interior imparts comfort and warmth. The soft candle-light enhances the whole dining experience. You could hear the water gurgling in the water-mill outside. What a novelty! It has a calming and soothing effect.
The servers were attentive and helpful. The food was good, not spectacular though.

Two thumbs up for atmosphere and decor.

A "unique" dinner destination. Definitely have reservations on a busy night.
There was seating outside with a view of the waterfall/mill, but nobody was sitting out there when we had dinner. Probably better for lunch or brunch in the daylight.
Inside there is a small bar and a number of tables strewn around the milling apparatus.
While the food was fresh, the portions were small and not quite up to their price.
Service can get quite slow during the dinner rush on a busy night.
They have some house mixed drinks that are pretty strong.
I liked Mountain Brahaus and A Tavola (New Paltz) much better.
Once was enough - Don't think I will be back.
