Good food and good service. We had come from a whiskey making tour and tasting next door, so it was perfect to grab a bite and let the buzz wear off.

We had dinner here while visiting Ulster County. The building is a lovely old grist mill. The meal was tasty and our waiter was provided excellent service.

Good food, cozy setting, loved the incorporation of the original mill fixtures and architecture. Very friendly staff who was more than accommodating to our attempt to have a nice classy sit-down meal with a squirmy 4 month old.

This restaurant came highly recommended by our hotel staff at Minnewaska Lodge and we were not disappointed. Lovely "gristmill" decor -- gorgeous wood, tables spaced nicely, linen napkins. Excellent wine list to chose from. My husband & I shared the appetizer special of sirloin and shrimp kabobs, which were delicious. I had the Caprese salad while my husband had a mixed green salad. Salads are not included with the meal.

For dinner, I had the 9 ounce filet and 6 ounce lobster tail. The filet was cooked to perfection. Garlic mashed potatoes were included as was Kale, which I didn't care for but only as a personal preference -- too bitter for me. My husband had the Eggplant Parm, which he loved. For dessert, we each had a slice of their carrot cake, my husband included ice cream with his.

Everything, from the ambiance, to the service, to the pacing of the courses, to the food itself was perfection!
