“A little bit of paradise”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

Landshark Tiki Bar is located directly on the water on the Nautical Mile in Freeport. On a beautiful sunny day, my husband and I sat waterfront on Adirondack chairs drinking their amazing Mango Vanilla Sangria. We later on moved under the gazebo sitting on lounge furniture to have dinner. We shared clams on the half shell and oysters for appetizers that were chilled and fresh. We then had a burger that they call "sharkburger in paradise" and a really good shrimp po' boy.
It was a really nice gettaway for the afternoon even though we were still on long island!

If your into the Jersey Shore crowd or MTV then maybe you'll like it. Very loud, overpriced drinks and obnoxios kids.

“Not run Well - Food Fair”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

To start off we waited over 10 minutes to be seated and the places wasn't even full. I was about to walk out when someone walked put there hand on my shoulder (a large/heavy man) who claimed he was the owner and wanted to apologize and would "take care of us". Taking care of us was free coffee after dinner, and we wouldn't of had the coffee if he didn't say it was on the house we had already said "no thanks". So what did he take care of? I mean at least a nice discount was in order - he offered..... He also didn't server us and only visited at the end when he gave us the coffee (well had someone else do it). The person who took served us complained about the big man (I guess he was her boss it wasn't so clear if he was really the owner), I think his name was "Irwin" but not 100% sure. The food was ok, nothing special. I didn't find the food fresh like the other person.

“Landshark was great! Food was delish and atomosphere perfect”
Reviewed September 16, 2011

Went to Landshark . Inside atmosphere was friendly and inviting--beachy casual. Menu was not over priced and lots of fun type choices. "Shark fins" were served instead of bread. They were great, warm homemade nacho chips. We shared a Landshark combo appetizer that had crispy calamari (one of the best i ever had), wings, mozzarella sticks and amazing baked clams. Had mahi mahi taco for dinner that was so good. Mahi was blackened (but not spicy) and very fresh.
Also... had a friend who was gluten free. They have a separate gluten free menu! She was so happy!
I would definitely go back. It was a great night.
