Let's start out by saying that the place has great food, but some dishes are not worth the price in size. The place is very tight and the wait can be a very long one on the weekends. They have a bar, where you can wait, but good luck squeezing in and finding a stool. The drinks are pretty good. Not a place for small children. They do have lunch specials during the week, which I enjoyed and were worth it. The Churasco in one our favorites.

I haven't figure out why some reviewers like Cabana. The restaurant was very cramp and loud. Waiting staff, although not hostile, was not exactly friendly either. I ordered the Camarones de Coco and the Chicharrones de Pollo. The shrimps appetizer was salty while the chicken main course was dried. The bathroom was not as cleaned as it should be.

I took my cousin here last weekend for her birthday and it was wonderful. We started off at the bar while waiting for our seats. They do not require reservations, so anticipate some wait time. Before 4 sips were done, our table was ready. It was a Friday evening, so maybe that contributed to the small wait time. The tables are a little close together, so it was a bit of maneuvering for the waitstaff to get around the tables. Yet, they were swift and gracious the entire time. We ordered one of the specials mentioned and a sampler appetizer dish. The best part of the evening was the staff singing Happy Birthday to my cousin as she sat beaming and content! It was a great evening!

Very good food in this restaurant close to Austin Street. Generally crowded. We always love to go there. The Churasco is delicious. The chocolate brownie as well. Try it !
