Marco LaGuardia Hotel by Lexington

I stayed in a studio room (with a small kitchen). The room was spacious and clean. This was a pleasant surprise when compared to other NY hotels.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a bit off the toursit trail but just 5 minutes walk from the subway (7 train) which takes you to mid-town Manhattan in around 30 minutes (express train) or 45 minutes on the regular stopping service.
Flushing is a bustling oriental neighbourhood with some great oriental reastaurants.

Excellent price for a stay in NYC!! The LIRR, & the Subway are a 4 block walk & will get you most anywhere in a short time. The neighborhood is Asian with MANY options to dine, even bagels which were excellent & just outside the door. Our room had a very comfortable King Bed - quite spacious for NYC. The room & the whole hotel was very clean. There is a nice patio for summer use.
Their restaurant Magna serves a good breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner. Magna really is an award winning Italian food experience & we look forward to next time :0)

Room Tip: We were in 1605, not a great view but relatively quiet for the area.

I recently spent two nights at the Marco LaGuardia for a race, the Men's Health Urbananthlon being held at Citi Field. This hotel is a 10 min shuttle ride away from the LaGuardia airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle. When you land at the airport, just give them a call. The shuttle for us arrived within 10 minutes. They provide the shuttle every 30min to take passengers back to airport for departures. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Always saying hello and asking if we know where we were going and if we needed any help. By booking directly with the hotel, free breakfast is provided. A good assortment of food for breakfast, toast, cereal, eggs, saugage, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, coffee and juice.
The hotel room was clean. Standard size rooms. But if you compare it to the usual tiny size of Manhattan hotel rooms, this was a pleasant size for much less than staying in Manhattan. Other reviews have mentioned noise but we had no issues. Any time staying in a big city you do hear some traffic and sirens so to us it was just the usual noise. The subway was a short walk, maybe 10 mins. The #7 subway train takes you direct to Manhattan. It was very easy to get downtown. Citi Field is one subway stop away. The only small issue we had was that sometimes the free wifi wasn't working. I would definitely stay here again. They also provide a discount if you have an AAA card.

Room Tip: We stayed on the seven floor and wasn't too noisy. Book directly with hotel to get free breakfas...

The staff were all very helpful. Hotel shuttle was quick & informative. The hotel room was really nice and clean, we were informed that they the hotel itself was less than 5 years old. even though we were on the 8th floor we could still hear traffic off North Blvd. We had a corner room even with the double bed it was extremely spacious.
coffee in the room was ok nothing special. We were informed that if we booked thru the hotel, breakfast is included otherwise, any other discount online site customers would have to pay $10 pp for the breakfast.
The shower was great it had a massage shower head. water pressure was excellent.
overall, clean and convenient right near Flushing Chinatown. easy access to the subway. deli & shops are nearby. I would stay there again

Room Tip: away from elevators, top floor still some traffic noise but not as bad if facing the street. choose...

We were recently visiting family in Queens New York and stayed at this hotel. Everyone on staff at this hotel was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and no bed bugs. It was centrally located, you could easily get into Manhatten and we were 3 miles from our family.
We would definately recommend this hotel and would in all likelyhood stay there again.

Room Tip: Stayed on a higher floor-not much noise.

Dont stay here. Service is horrible. We had a king room that was to noisy and asked to be moved...they said there was an up-charge to do so? What? I have been traveling internationally for over 20 years and never had a manager of a hotel not take care of a customer like this.

Room Tip: make sure to ask where the room is located and about noise....

We were going to visit our son, daughter in law and new grand daughter in Jackson Heights, Queens and found this wonderful hotel in nearby Flushing's Chinatown. The Marco is on a major road in Queens, Northern Blvd., near a subway stop which is a very short trip into Times Square and about a $30 cab fare into the City. They even have a free shuttle to and from LaGuardia Airport (but not JFK). The hotel is very well run, clean, and the staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and efficient. The buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant was really fantastic! So bountiful and delicious that we never needed lunch. Because we booked directly with the hotel the breakfast was included in our room price. The price is far less than for a Manhattan hotel. We were there for seven nights and will definitely always stay there when visiting our family in Queens. Check out their web site for all they have to offer!

Room Tip: Rooms not on Northern Blvd. will be more quiet as will the higher floors. The handicap room had a h...
