“An Experience”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

I went there for lunch with some other American friends. This way we got to taste different dishes. It is a "canteen" in the basement of the Ganesha Temple. We were the only non Indian people there, so we asked some of them on line with us what to order. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I had Dosa Macella (spelling?) It was HOT, but delicious. Their soup is also very hot. In fact almost everything was hot, but very good. This is southern Indian home style cooking. Indian people who own their own restaurants eat there. It's THAT good. Bring tissues!

“Visit to Ganesha Temple in Flushing NY”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

This temple has been built 35 years ago.Once inside the temple one would feel like we are in India. For those who are religiously inclined will surely like it.If you will have to go this place from NJ the travel time to this place in Queens will take along time-By train at least 3 hours.By car 2hrs.

But the Journey will be worth it.

“Feels Good to see Lord Ganesh Temple in Queens, NY”
Reviewed May 16, 2010

I have been there on occasion of "Akshayya Trutiya" with my wife. Temple is well maintained. You will find Maha Ganapati at the center and all other hindu God/Goddess surrounding Lord Ganesha. Felt really nice to be in temple almost more than month after landing in NY.
It's not a tourist must see attraction but for those who want to visit temple in NYC it's nice place. One more thing. I have got best indian food taste in Temple's canteen.
