My husband and I ate at this restaurant and it was by far the best "deal" we got our entire trip to NYC. We walked in as soon as they opened and were surprised that it wasn't busy at all. Since I never tried live octopus before I was really hoping I could try it. Unfortunately, they did not have any in their tank so the waiter suggested that we get the seafood hot pot, which is basically all the different seafood except the octopus. I was amazed at how much food they gave us! There was even a lobster in there (claws moving and everything.) We didn't get a chance to finish the entire hot pot so it felt like we wasted some money, which is why if you buy the hot pot, there should be at least 3 people eating it, not just 2. The nice thing about Sik Gaek is that they packed our leftovers in a bucket so we could take it back to the hotel.
