“Good breakfast buffet”

The Magna is located in the Marco LaGuardia Hotel. Our only meal was breakfast. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and solicitous.

I could write a lot, but suffice to say the staff are very friendly, particularly Jean and Caesar. The food is excellent. All meals I had here were of the first order. Cannot praise it enough!

I was surprised that the food was not bad. I was expecting it to be because the place was so depressing. For some of the time, we were the only ones eating there, although there was one other couple when we came and another couple came shortly before we left. They seem to do a good take-out business. My caesar salad had powdered cheese, one of my pet peeves and the bread was typical store-bought bread. My entree, though, a seafood variety, was tasty enough. Since the neighborhood is almost all Asian restaurants, Magna doesn't have competition, but my advice would be not to eat in this neighborhood.
