“"Be Kind ToThe Earth"”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Good trip for a family or a class. We studied about "Earth Day". We visited this place to get hands on experience about ecological needs for the earth. We enjoyed the tour and workshop. When we left we learned how to develop a better respect for our earth. How to take better care of it. We returned to school and celebrated "Earth Day".

“Great zoo, plus the NY Hall of Science is next door”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2009

This is also known as "The Queens Zoo". It is a lot smaller than the Bronx Zoo, but if you are looking for a relaxing day with the kids with no crowds, this is the place to go, plus the NY Hall of Science is nearby, which the kids will love. (Just check the hours of the Hall of Science, they close early on Thursdays).
I've done this trip every year for 3 years at spring break and I'm never dissapointed.
