This is the bakery where I would go to for the Almond Croissant. I’ve tried so many other bakeries in Manhattan and Queens that sell almond croissants but have not found one that is as good as this one. You can smell the flavorful almond before eating it. The flaky crust is partially covered with almond candied custard-like coating, and the almond filling has just enough moisture in the center of the croissant. I usually would buy an extra one for the next day and it tastes as good (not soggy at all).
It also sells a unique bakery item called Guava- Passion fruit croissant. This croissant is filled with cream of sweet guava and a hint of sour taste of passion fruit. The bakery is quite busy during the weekend so, sometimes you have to wait for vacant seats.
