Days Inn was conveniently located to everything we were touring in the Hudson Valley.
Breakfast was ok.
We opened up the bed covers one evening and there was a bed bug scurrying across the sheet. We were immediately moved to another room and had no further problems.
Aneka, the receptionist on days, September 29th and 30th. was outstanding. She is very professional and helpful plus has a great personality and killer smile!

We booked a room for two people, but on both nights of our stay, we were missing either two bath towels or a bathmat. We also looked for kleenex but none was provided. So we ended up using toilet paper for tissues. Perhaps a minor issue, but we expected better from a Days Inn.

Room Tip: Don't book a queen size bed as every time I turned over, my husband got ripples from the bed and woke up. Every time he turned over, I also woke up.

This is a very functional hotel in a great location. It's right off Route 84 on Rt. 9. It is nothing fancy, however the rooms are clean and updated. The bed was super comfortable as were the three pillows on it. The room itself was a bit small, but nothing to complain about - clean walls, clean draperies, clean carpeting. The bathroom was tiny. However, it was clean and had a nice shower with good water pressure and hot water. The tub looked a little worn - not dirty - but aged. AC unit was okay - didn't keep the room quite as cool as we would have liked, but overall ok. WIFI worked well. The sink is outside of the bathroom, which we liked because I could finish getting ready while my husband showered. The towels were a bit thin, but again, nothing to complain about. The room had a flat screen TV with a cable box. The staff was super friendly upon check in. We ordered take out (late) and sat in the lobby (which is very small) with a group to eat. The staff had no problem with this and kindly provided us with the menu of their preferred take-out restaurant (which was very tasty!). The only problem we had with the whole place was the morning breakfast area. They serve a complimentary continental breakfast (usual pastries, bagels, breads, cereal, and waffles you make yourself along with juice and coffee). It was adequate for a quick bite to eat - although I have had better complimentary breakfasts with yogurt, bacon, etc. But that's not the problem...the problem is the 'dining' area is tiny! Smaller than my own kitchen. It was very crowded all morning and was frankly a hassle. Overall it is a good hotel at a good price compared to others in the area. We are actually planning another stay at the end of this month.

Read trip advisor reviews and found this to be a perfect overnight traveling to Boston. No frills just clean & friendly place to overnight. Checked online rates and they matched them when I called.

Clean, plenty of shower pressure & hot water. I had end room and WIFI did not work. Cable was good. Bed was clean, comfy. A/C unit worked just fine. Fridge made a subtle noise, but not a problem. Breakfast is no frills. All these hotels have a lot of options across main street (Rt. 9) for shopping, dinner, movies etc.
Staff was very friendly; the website said $90/nite; I did not book. I just showed up and price was $110/nite.
