Service was good, cleanliness no complaints, wait staff friendly, but the food disappointing. I ordered chicken and dumplings, with mashed potatoes as one of the sides. I was puzzled when the mashed potatoes were served with what they call "brown gravy", which is a beef-based gravy. That's what you get at Cracker Barrel if you want gravy on your mashed potatoes. Now, if you were to serve home-made chicken and dumplings at your home, wouldn't you put some of that same chicken gravy on the mashed? What a weird combination. Must be the brown gravy is cheaper -- sure tasted cheaper. This is not home-style cooking! Guess this just another reason to avoid chain restaurants.
