We stopped at the Red Line for lunch on a trip from New England to PA. The diner was highly recommended by a friend from the area, but we were deeply disappointed. On the positive side, access from I-84 is easy, the facility is beautiful, the staff friendly and efficient. The menu offers a broad range of choices, with something for everyone. There was just one negative, but it was a deal-breaker: the kitchen had an incredibly heavy hand with garlic powder. Everything we ordered (except dessert) seemed saturated with it - even the dressing on the coleslaw. Perhaps one of the cooks was having a bad day - if so, management was remiss in not effectively monitoring what was being turned out. We make the trip through there several times a year, but we won't return to the Red Line.
