Had a lovely stay in Madison Fire Island Pines for two nights in June. The whole Fire Island experience was fantastic. A lot of the Fun happens in Cherry Grove and Madison is in the next resort down which is more peaceful. We enjoyed being able to relax around the pool in the day and walking to Cherry Grove in the evening. We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the pool and they were a great size and very clean and well furnished. The resort was a couple of minutes walk from beach and centre of Fire Island Pines Resort. The continental breakfast provided was great with a good selection available. Overall a great and fun trip and would highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to relax as well as party. Only negative and it's not a major thing in the summer is that the temperature of bedrooms is extremely cold and can't seem to adjust it in individual rooms

This is a small hotel that's run almost like a homestay. The rooms are big, airy and very comfortable. Room amenities are nothing to shout about but not only is breakfast included, they welcome you to use the kitchen that comes with conventional oven, stove and microwave oven. Although you have your own mini fridge in your own room, you can use their fridge in the kitchen for stuff that does not fit your mini fridge. There's also a pool although the beach is just a few meters away. Just steps away from the ferry point at Fire Island Pines (note: not Cherry Grove) the supermarket though pricey is easily accessible as is the wine and liquor store - well stocked and reasonably priced. The bar and the restaurant and cafe at the ferry point are easily accessible and food and drinks are quite good. Take a slow stroll along the beach to Cherry Grove where there appears to be more restaurants and shops selling usual souvenir and beach stuff. Most delightful of all - the wonderful staff at the hotel - so friendly and welcoming. I stayed only 2 nights but wished I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended. Note of caution though when you first arrive from the ferry point. It is very easy to miss the entrance to the hotel as there are no signs and the entrance is just a wooden door. Look out for the address that's on the door and not the name of the hotel.

Just got back from our second visit at the Madison, this time just three nights. The Madison and its staff continued to exceed our expectations. The upkeep at a beachside setting is continuous, the complaints by other reviewers long since repaired, new minor issues here and there, but nothing that would ruin a stay. There is a photo of a spiral staircase that was the access to the second floor, that's gone, replaced by big, normal stairway. The pool is awesome, the hot tub is a very popular amenity. They put out a continental breakfast with coffee, tea, bagels, mini-donuts, fresh fruit and some cereal. This is great because there aren't many other options for early dining in the Pines. Of course, the location couldn't be better, just steps to the heart of town, and the Atlantic Ocean. The worst part of our stay was packing and facing returning to the "real world"

Very close to the pier and grocery, also nice quiet location. The hotel itself is beautiful and pretty new. We cooked our dinner in the main kitchen which is very nice. Check out the rooftop on the main building to see sunset and sky. The only thing is that if you stay in the pool-side room you cannot adjust ac which is very cold in the night. Make sure you bring some warm pyjamas!

We can't wait to go back! My husband and I went there in June for our anniversary. We had a a very romantic and relaxing time. Luke and his staff were amazing and very accommodating. we were so excited in June we even made our reservations for September when we checked out! :)) only thing is that the hot tub could of been cleaner.
