Off the beaten path but has a rustic cool factor. Food was great, drinks were cold and service was very accommodating.

My wife and I stop at Pine Junction to experience the place and have a drink.
The driveway in and the surrounding grounds are in desperate need of some fixing up as you get the feeling we were driving into a salvage yard.

I liked the inside of the bar (but then again I like downtown Las Vegas).
We sat in the rear bar area that has garage doors for opening in warmer weather.
It was too cool for that and it actually help shelter us from the view of a barn/garage type building that was under some degree of construction.

The bar it self was comfortable and the service was good as were the mixed drinks.

We ordered the chicken quesadilla that was on the regular menu (not under the appetizers column) so you would think it would be substantial in serving size.

What came out was a 2/3 empty shell with a couple ounces of grilled chicken with a modest amount of cheese and three dipping sides of ranch, sour cream and salsa.
It was so disappointing as I had read good things about the food.

We have ordered chicken quesadilla's at a lot of different watering holes as appetizers and while each place has their own twist on the contents the "shell" was generally completely filled.
As a "dinner selection" you would expect to at least get your monies worth and be offered additional sides (something like shredded lettuce, diced tomato, green onions etc.)

And just an additional comment on the odd drink prices. $3.26? Really? Why the odd penny?

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. It is a little out of the way, but well worth the trip. We went at about 7:00 on Saturday night, and it was packed. We had to wait 20 minutes, but no problem, because there was room at the bar! There was a guy playing guitar and soft rock, and the restaurant itself is very fun and comfortable. We were called in exactly 20 minutes, and service and food were wonderful. We will return!

Second time here.... Once again, great food, great service!!!! Nestled in the country where the white collars come to play is this neat country restaurant!! And for country people like us that like good REAL food in a country bar setting... This is it for us!!!! Can't recommend enough and can't wait to see it in the summer!!!! My only regret is that I don't own this place :)

We had the most bizarre experience at this restaurant last week. Our group of 8 included 5 adults, 1 mid teen and 2 young children. Upon arrival the place was obviously busy, not a problem. The hostess told us it would be an hour from arrival to be seated, again not a problem. We were seated on time and proceeded to order drinks and food (burgers, salads, chicken sandwiches, tenders, etc). The very friendly waitress brought the children's meals very quickly as well as drinks. Things looked good.

After 1/2 hour one cup of appetizer soup arrived and drinks flowed. At the one hour mark we asked the obviously frustrated waitress for an update. She checked and told us we were within 10 minutes. At the 1.5 hour point (that is not an exaggeration....not by a single minute) one of the ladies in our party asked the flustered waitress if we could speak to a manager. She was informed that there is no manager by title but that the owners were on premises and she led her to them. The lady in our party informed the female owner of the situation and that they would have to leave given the late hour, no food for adults, and the children. The owner told her that they "can leave but they would be paying for their food or she would call the police". --????-- After asking for clarification the owner repeated her threat.

After they attempted to bill us for all the food that we never received we ended up paying for just our drinks and leaving. The female owner --literally-- followed us to the door --literally-- screaming that she'd like to "see you run a restaurant" and repeating her threat to call the police for not paying for food that never materialized. Bizarre is the only word I can attach to the entire situation.

This left us standing at our cars at 930 at night, 2.5 compete hours after arrival, on a Saturday with no restaurant nearby to take families to. We normally do try to frequent the local establishment over chains but we would dissuade any family who desires meals from visiting this restaurant. You will have little recourse in terms of food. Hit the mall area, lots of options there.
