We did a hike here during the peak of the leaves at the beginning of October. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and serene. We enjoyed a walk around Green lake and walked to Round Lake as well. The lakes are crystal clear as it is fed by a natural spring. This is a must do if in the area and even worth a side trip to see the beautiful area. During the summer it is an attraction for those that want to recreate in the area. We did not encounter any crowds during the fall (nor did we have to pay an entrance fee).
