We travel by Boat from Burlington to Essex NY every Summer and love the location of the Old Dock as its just perfect. Last year we were seated and after about a half hour had to go and find someone at the bar to take our order. This year we went for appetizers and drinks.The bill for 3 of us was over the top and we noticed an error on the bill. It was supposedly corrected but was not. The other Couple with us found our bill was billed to them as was theirs which was also duplicated - resulting in three charges for them. We were charged the wrong amount to our Credit card so all in all there were 4 charges for two checks. It took a number of phone calls to get the bill corrected for the couple that was charged 3 times. I had our credit card company work our our bill which was eventually corrected. With attention to detail and the right staffing it would be great. Seasonal businesses are difficult. To keep repeat business and create a destination folks don't want to avoid someone needs to pay attention. A lot of Boaters we have talked to have had similar issues and that is just so sad.
