When we were there a number of folks had on display old cars which was neat. The younger kids enjoyed the carousel, the paddle boats and over all just the pleasure of running around. Lots of fields for sports and a nice respite from a town environment.

The people behind the restoration of Eldridge Park have gone above and beyond to create an old time park with old time values and a nod to the old glory days of the park when we "old timers" were young. It's a must do / see place for anyone that remembers the old park and for those looking for a wholesome, well run, clean environment to walk your dog, ride a carousel or enjoy an ice cream cone.

I grew up with the great wooden roller coaster at Eldridge park.. So glad that they are updating it for a family park.

picnic areas, walking paths, putt putt, arcade games. A place to buy souvenirs, carousel, boat rides, paddle boats, playground, and nature.

Eldrige Park was eventually closed down wnd their prize carousel animals sold off. But a few years ago, Dr Bob Lyon recreated the horses based upon photos of the old carousel and the park is now as vibrant as it was in the 70's. Now with the Dragon Boat out on Eldridge Lake, the picnic areas, the miniature train, the minigolf and go-carts, there is plantly to keep everyne busy for a day. IF you are looking for something to do to pass the time of keep the kids busy, I highly recommend this place!
