This was our second stay at this hotel this year and as previously everything was fine.
We had an handicapped room for my husband and all our needs were met.
The room was the same one we had on our visit back in June. The only problem with it is that there is no place to hang clothes.

The room does have a rack which has been lowered for people in wheelchairs. The rack was about 3 feet wide. Now it was about 3 feet above the floor. The problem is that there is a room safe mounted on the floor below the rack. It is about 2 feet wide and 2 feet high. Therefore there is only enough space for about 4 hangers.

Otherwise an excellent hotel.

We arrived early for check in and the front desk gave us the options of checking in immediately or coming back in 1 1/2 hours and being able to get 3 rooms together. We took the last option and we very pleased with the rooms. All the rooms were large and together. The whole hotel is spotless. Great location...within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Breakfast included with the room was very good. Large breakfast area and not many guests. Would definitely return here.

We got an amazing mid-week stay-and-ski package deal off the hotel's web site at only $79 per pax. This includes ski lifts tickets at Holimont, a private ski resort. Both the exterior and the interior hotel were beautiful and very quaint. Room was huge and spotless! Two queen size beds for two! Breakfast was nothing to shout about but the belgian waffles were fantastic!

Great place to stay for a ski trip. Will definitely be back.

This hotel is right in the center of Ellicottville - the location couldn't be better! This area only offers street parking for most of the downtown shops and restaurants which is challenging on a busy weekend. This becomes even more challenging with large mounds of snow, which obviously this area is prone to receiving. Staying in this hotel gives you a great place to park, and easy walking to everything (we're talking a 2-3 minute walk to most of the restaurants) which really makes a difference.

This hotel is only a year or so old, so everything is basically new. Great sized room, nice flat panel wall mounted TV, thermostat controlled heat, mini fridge, safe, and coffeemaker in room. They do have a ski storage area, but we didn't use it (just left the skis on the car rack).

Breakfast is satisfactory, cold cereals, make it yourself oatmeal packets, fruit (oranges, bananas), yogurt, toast area, doughnuts/pastry, waffle-making area, and some hot items that change daily (eggs, bacon, etc.) They do a good job keeping it stocked and clean.

We prefer staying at the Inn at HV, due to its proximity to the slopes. But it does fill quickly, and when you get right down to it, the parking advantage this hotel provides really does make a difference.

Have stayed here before - will do again!

We managed to pick up a bargain of the year; we stay here for two nights in May for only C$110 / night for a 5 star room.

If you have the chance to stay at this place during the off season, do it!

The room had a HUGE bathroom and a open fire place, bed was excellent.

The price included a breakfast, including a hot selection (eggs, bacon, freshly made waffles)

The pool and gym were also excellent.

The only complaint was the breakfast lady kept looking at us like we were aliens!

Its worthwile going to the sculpture park in Ashford Hollow if you get a chance. A treasure!

We had a lovely suite, with kitchen, small dining table, sofa, and chairs. The kitchen was not stocked with any dishes or pans. The living room had a gas fireplace. The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge, with Jacuzzi tub, shower, and two sinks. The tub was great for a soak after a long day. The hair dryer was the best I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was included with the room, but it was nothing special. The coffee was weak and not very hot. The fruit selection was paltry, especially given the season. However, they do let you make fresh waffles, which was fun.

The only downside was that the first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. We all smelled something on the 3rd floor, but there was no fire. We were able to return to our room after an hour. The management was not very helpful in this incident. They did not try to help people evacuate and no alarm went off in our room, just the alarm in the hallway.
