Literally got sick after eating steak (I think it was called filet oscar) that had a crab topping that looked and tasted like canned tuna. Service was great, and you get a ton of food, but the quality has really gone down hill.

Read all the reviews, and decided to make reservations for our group dinner for 16 people after our Easter ski day at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville. We are 5 families with teenagers.
I love to find the local hangouts, and try to avoid the tourist traps.
We strolled in at 6 pm, and our table was already set for us.
We met our server, Stella, nicest lady...for real.
Many of us ordered one of the 2 specials of the day, all u can eay award winning ribs, yes, they were! With most entrees, fresh bread, soup and salad were served.
My husband grabbed our server's hand, to tell her how good his ribs were.

We stopped at a Riley's after a day of skiing. What a great casual choice in Ellicottville. Menu has a ton of variety, nice choices for daily specials on entrees, soups, and appetizer. Regular menu also has a huge selection.

We were greeted on arrival by a cordial host, waitress by the name of Casey was fantastic, gave great service and offered details on the menu items. All of the food we ordered came out in a timely fashion, and was all of high quality.

The reason I pushed this to an excellent rating was the value, wow, have to say this restaurant offers a great price to food value. All entrees include both soup and salad and bread. Just a great deal!

Try it if down in the area, rustic place with good food....plus....the pool table is free!!

I spend a lot of time in Ellicottville. Have eaten in every restaurant. I really like Riley's. Great service. Fair prices.Homemade dressings for the salads. Homemade soups. Don't understand why it's only rated in the middle for this area.
