I was surprised to read the other reviews of people who had a bad experience. My sister in law, my sister, and I all have rather picky tastes when it comes to dining out, and we all agreed this was a lovely restaurant. Their menu was much better than bar food. The salads were very fresh with dark greens and unique dressings. My sister and I shared the scallops - and they were delicious. We all loved our baked brie appetizer. I think the waitress was good - but we were so busy chatting and enjoying a nice Chardonnay that a bit of a wait would not have bothered us anyhow. We went without children, and we took a local's advice to dine upstairs - much nicer. They don't serve pizza upstairs, so maybe that kept the kids on the first floor? Also, we dined early and we were there before their busy ski season. The prices were what you would expect from a nicer restaurant (18-30 per entree) and salads were ala cart. I don't mind the price when the food is good - and it was excellent. I have 3 kids, and I probably would not have gone here with them, but we had a baby sitter.
