The Seatuck Cove Inn was a wonderful place to stay. Located right on the water, the B&B is a modern, comfortable but luxurious home away from home. We stayed in the Marina room, the least expensive room in the B&B. It was much more affordable than any of the other options we had investigated for our stay for a nearby wedding, and we were extremely pleased with the room. Although small, it had everything you could want - a CD player alarm clock (and you could borrow CDs from a collection in the common room downstairs), a flat screen TV, a well-stocked bathroom, french doors to a small deck. Everything was perfect in the room - all looked brand new and clean. Beautiful bedding - handstitched quilts with starfish on them. We took a peek in some of the larger rooms before other guests checked in, and they were amazing! One had a fireplace, and both were extremely large and had jacuzzi tubs and sitting areas. We thought that we would love to come back for a splurge and try one of the larger rooms. The innkeeper was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The gourmet breakfasts every morning were fabulous - each morning saw a 3-course breakfast -- muffins, followed by fruit, and then a main course, such as a frittata with bacon, pancakes, etc. The house has a beautiful swimming pool, and a lovely outdoor space with tables and chairs for hanging out outdoors. It was too cold to swim during our visit, but I noticed that there were baskets with beach towels and sunscreen near the door going out to the pool. Likewise, the bathroom in our room had more than the basic supplied - there were makeup remover pads, and some complimentary snacks and drinks. The innkeepers thought of everything! My only complaint (and this is a very small one), was that the sun was very bright coming into our room in the morning - it would be nice to have some darker drapes across the French doors to block out the light a bit better for affording the possibility of sleeping in a bit more. But everything was so comfortable, I really didn't mind this, and easily fell back asleep after being awoken by the sun the first morning. (The second morning it didn't bother me much at all.) Overall, I would highly recommend the Seatuck Cove Inn to couples for a romantic getaway, or to anyone who just wants some quiet time by the water. The inn is a short drive away from Westhampton and also not far from the North Fork wine country. A very nice place to spend a weekend!
