Description: There’s “first-class” dining “nestled deep” in East Quogue at this “culinary tour de force”, where the “adventurous” seasonal menu of “superior” French-Med cuisine shows off “fantastic variations and flavors” in discreetly “sophisticated” environs overseen by a “gracious” staff; it’s the stuff that “great memories” are made of. “Another Great Meal!”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

We've been dining at Stone Creek Inn several times a year since the nineties and have never had a less than wonderful meal. Last night was no different. It's Long Island Restaurant week and the $27.95 prix fixe menu has something for everyone. Duck ragu was outstanding, as was the caramel & pear dessert. If you can't make it during Restaurant Week, they do have a $30 prix fixe menu all year, in addition to the regular menu.

One of our favorite dinning spots in Eastern Long Island. Never fails to deliver on quality of food and always a very enjoyable evening out.

“Very Good Meal”
Reviewed October 9, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I've been to Stone Creek countless times over the years and it never disappoints. The food is great and the service is fast but not rushed. Portion size is perfect and the menu has a good mix of choices. Definitely a go to during restaurant week.

“Boring, unimaginative, over priced, over rated...”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

The menu looks far more interesting than it actually is...

The quality of the ingredients is good... but the use of them is completely unimaginative.

We had to put so much salt on what we ordered (to get more flavor out of it), it was ridiculous.

At the end of the day, it wasn't bad food, but it was completely uninteresting and bland... and we would not recommend it for the price... we've eaten at restaurants that are half the price where the flavors explode in your mouth and you remember them for months and years to come... we will forget Stone Creek in an instant...

I guess it's the old problem of a captive audience and it definitely had essence of "trying to please the old folk" rather than anyone with a real interest in excellent, contemporary, imaginative food.

The drinks are ridiculously over priced and the use of a parking valet to park our car less than 15 feet from where we pulled up is just pretentious ... we've no objections to parking valets at all, but worst case you have to walk 50 feet from the parking lot to the restaurant... is a parking valet really needed?

Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend, nor would we return.

“Great food, wonderful service”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Very pretty restaurant, excellent waitress, food was delicious. What else is there to say? On waitress's recommendation we had the soft shell crabs which were delicious, the lamb which was great, and tuna tartare. For appetizers, we had the duck meatballs, steak tartare, and a burrata special. For sides we had the truffle mac n cheese, which was worth every fattening bite and some mushrooms. Dessert we had the cookies and sorbet. Just delicious!!
