Description: There’s “first-class” dining “nestled deep” in East Quogue at this “culinary tour de force”, where the “adventurous” seasonal menu of “superior” French-Med cuisine shows off “fantastic variations and flavors” in discreetly “sophisticated” environs overseen by a “gracious” staff; it’s the stuff that “great memories” are made of. “Wonderful food!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012 via mobile

The hostess was rude and very unprofessional. But the rest of the staff and the food were absolutely wonderful. The duck meatball appetizer and the tuna steak were fantastic, but everything we had was simply delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend it to friends. Hopefully we'll get a different hostess next time.

“Simply Sublime”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

A diamond of a restaurant off the beaten path in East Quoque. Fabulous food and wine served in a clean, simple, but elegant dining room. White table clothes, candle lit, fine stemware. Dinner highlights included: The lobster risotto, the Tuscan vegaterian entree, and the cheese plate. Hands down, the best dinner of our vacation. Highly recommend.

“Another great evening”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

We had another great meal, good service and nice atmosphere. Evenings here have been consistently great for the many times we have chosen it for a quiet intimate dinner. No Hampton hype!!

“Superb Experience All Around”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

We had a terrific dinner at Stone Creek Inn on a Tuesday night (we found that most of the area's better restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Located in a seemingly old building, the setting is serene with many flowering shrubs and perennials viewable from the airy dining room. White tablecloths and fine serving ware complete the picture. The servers were friendly but very competent, working in teams. Wines by the glass were reasonably priced. Once our orders were taken, good dinner rolls and butter appeared followed by a delectable amuse bouche. We chose the pre fixe menu that evening, which was an outstanding value. I had a spectacular heirloom tomato gazpacho, bouillabaisse and chocolate fondant. My wife had a calamari and frisee salad, roasted chicken and a strawberry-rhubarb tart. Outside of one meal in NYC, this was the best meal we had during our ten-day trip through the northeast. We would go back in a heartbeat.
