The Palm is always fun, but the food, at least at this location, had come down in quality over the past couple of years. Having been a few times recently I'm glad to say it's back on the right track! A hidden gem among the menu offerings is the chicken parmigiana. Don't miss it. Service always top notch. Drinks big and strong!

We went to the Palm on a Thursday evening before the height of the dinner rush. We had a lovely table on their enclosed porch, for lack of a better description. Started with the calamari and the lobster bisque. We both had the filet mignon, shared the creamed spinach and the world's biggest baked potato. Didn't have room for dessert. Now, a few things about the Palm. We've been coming here for over 25 years. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, you will wait if you want to dine at 7 or 8pm, especially on the weekend and in the summer. It's East Hampton. But I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal here.

I was really looking forward to our night at the Palm, having booked as far in advance as I could on Open Table. Arriving at the restaurant reception area, we were totally ignored by the female attendant. After standing for an awkward period of time a male staff member acknowledged us and sat us at a table. The place was packed and on the next table was a man with a very very loud voice that intruded on everyone's conversation. Not the fault of the restaurant, just bad luck. Our meals were VERY ordinary, edible but not great. The ambiance was not good, and the restaurant certainly needs updating. I appreciate the history of the restaurant and the articles, caricatures, and photos that adorn the walls, however the furniture and decor could be upgraded. We were staying at The Huntting Inn and if you are staying in the locality there are far better options within walking distance. We stayed at the Inn for several nights and met with a few other patrons - ALL of whom acknowledged their disappointment with The Palm and the food.

The Palm is still a great restaurant for Steak & Lobster, plus great Pasta
Service is high end in the Fashion of all The Palm Restaurants...this is sett into a beautiful Inn on the Main Street of East Hampton Village, Valet Parking, and a Classic Atmosphere....
If you have already enjoyed other Palm Restaurants, you will find this one to be the Best, set in the East Hampton Village and East Hampton Village & Beaches

service was fabulous. one of our party didn't specify the tuna appetizer instead of entree. the waiter was gracious and made the switch without any issue. food was plentiful and delicious. atmosphere is like a 5 star restaurant in manhattan
