This place is basically a diner although it does not look like one from the outside. The food is what you would expect from a solid diner, Usually go for breakfast which is always good. This is the fairest priced place to eat in town.

Kind of shabby, but it's a good busy everyday diner. Plenty of variety on the menu and friendly staff. We all enjoyed the food and the coffee was excellent. Go early on the weekends or be prepared to wait a little.

At at this cute little restaurant tonight. Food was good. Didn't take too terribly long to get our food or drinks. It's a pretty small restaurant but they have a full menu. So many choices and I didn't expect that wide range of foods they had- which works well when traveling with people who have different tastes. The decor wasn't great but we didn't come for that so I'm willing to overlook that!

John Pappas is a great place to have some solid food. Their omelets are as far as I am concerned the best in East Hampton, their salads are fresh and delicious and we finally actually made it there for dinner and we were very happy.
It is not a scene and it is not chi chi - it's just a reliable reasonably price place to grab breakfast lunch or dinner!

This restaurant is basically a diner. The food is good for a diner. No surprises there.
The problem is that the owners have no crowd control and East Hampton being so crowded there is always a knot of folks waiting to be seated. There is no one directing traffic and of course people being people certain folks jump the line and almost daily there is some semi altercation going on at the front door. Now if you are already seated this turns into the dining entertainment but if you are waiting to be seated it is
a chance to practice your fight or flight skills. Until they get this problem in order and I don't mean wait for the summer crowds to disappear I cannot recommend this place.
