“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

Perhaps it was just the right crowd and the right dishes on the right night, but we so enjoyed our meal last night. The waitress made the right pasta recommendation, and the antelope was perfectly cooked. We were early to arrive and enjoyed the convivial atmosphere in the bar. Only nitpick was a bit too long wait for the entrees to arrive.

“Wonderful restaurant in every way”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

we visited Long Island as part of our honeymoon in October 2011. Nick and Toni's was recommended to us by a local restauranteur and we booked in for dinner. The food and service were impeccable. A lovely touch was when they realised it was our honeymoon, our dessert came on a large pizza plate with "congratulations" piped around the edge in chocolate. Thoughtful little extras that make a place special!

“All Hype!!!”
Reviewed December 14, 2011

We went here for dinner several times to give it a few chances but each and every time the food/service were the same. Service is poor and the food was average. We are sad to write this review but there are so many better choices in this town and area that have fabulous food/service and don't have the attitude this restaurant has! Sorry!

“Nick & Toni's is our Favorite Restaurant in East Hampton”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

We have been eating at Nick & Toni's for years and took friends there for dinner this past weekend. It so rarely disappoints. Three of us began with their beet salad which looked beautiful and well as tasting good. The fourth had mussels which he thoroughly enjoyed. For our entrees we each ordered something different but all were successful. My dish of scallops were placed on a puree of leeks and covered with brussel sprouts. The scallops were done perfectly and drizzled with a slightly sweet sauce which was great. The desserts were all delicious. We did order from their pre fixe $30. menu which allows a choice of almost anything on the menu. The portions are smaller but we find them sufficient. Without doing this, it is easy to run up quite a bill unless one orders one of their spectacular pastas as a main course. So while we do eat there more often off season when they offer their specials, we do love going to this special place.

“Had higher expectations for food, service was awesome though”
Reviewed November 13, 2011

Just returned from a weekend getaway where we dined at Nick & Toni's. Maybe I have become a picky eater since dining in some of the greatest restaurants NYC has to offer, but I wasn't that impressed with the food considering the prices.

We got the Gnocchi with oxtail sauce for an appetizer which was the best thing we ate. If I had that for my meal I probably would have given 4 stars. Sauce was very tasty and gnocchi were a good consistency. For main course I had the Fish Stew which was so-so. The broth was just alright, calamari was a little tough and would have liked some mussels and/or lobster in there as well. Also tried the hanger steak, which my boyfriend enjoyed but he is easier to please :) I have to say though, the service was phenomenal. Had a water glass that was constantly filled and everyone was ready to please. I would probably try it out again and sample some different dishes.
