Food was mediocre. They were just worried about getting us out as fast as possible. Appetizer out within 5 minutes, main course followed immediately, my plate taken away before my fork was even down, and then dessert menu in our faces right after that. When we told the waitress we needed another minute, she told us she'd get us the check.

We live very near and eat here when we have an occasion... a birthday, an anniversary, etc... It is in an old 1800's (I think) house, so it has a warm inviting ambiance. The food is ALWAYS good. I've NEVER had a problem with my food here, and again, we live close and have been coming here for years.

The ricotta gnudi pasta was an absolute explosion of flavor. A mixture of a homemade pasta and "blistered" cherry tomatoes was one of the most creative dishes I have had in a long time on the East End. Chef Ian Lowell apparently is imaginative and successful.
The crab meat pasta was also a winner but must take second place to the aforementioned pasta. In a past visit we had seared scallops which were expertly prepared. Salads are always excellent and local oysters on the half shell are another prime attraction. We also were feted to a dessert that wasn't on the menu which was a mixture of devils food cake, mousse, and other goodies....hope it gets on the menu.

Scandinavian Eclectic but mixed results ...Great for dogs..yes they have a dog menu ..but less so for the adults....The wine list is over priced..and potions run small...but when you need to wine your great dane ..it s the real woof...try the meat balls or salmon ..but if you go in with low expectations you will be satisfied ..ie the service need s work...the restaurant can also get loud ...also not a value play..ie expect $80/head for 3 courses ...
