This place is so run down that it appears unsafe. Many dirty, rusty surfaces particularly noticeable in playground area and around pool. Buildings in desperate need of repairs and paint. Broken glass and caps from beer bottles randomly litter the grounds. It is sad, this place was probably charming decades ago.

This trip was amazing. So much to do. Animal shows on Mon, Tue. an AMAZING!!!!! fireworks show, Wed. A magic show. And then Thur -Sat bands in the bar with no cover charge. This was a hopping place. Great staff and so much to do. There is a bar next too the pool that makes awesome frozen "adult beverages" while you watch your kids swim and play in the park. I would for sure go back.

Room Tip: There Tarra hall and Rose garden rooms are great

Dirty!!! You could get ill if you swam in the pool scum ring and bugs. Was there for a week never saw anyone clean or put chemicals in the pool. Phone did not work. Staff clueless about anything going on at the place. My kids kissed the floor when we got home thanking god they could sleep in their own bed and not worry about getting sick from the filth of the rooms . Not one thing to entertain the kids unless you include a local guy with half his finger missing showing his collection of snakes and telling the kids that everything they see on TV will melt their brains and insulting the cops and fireman about how they handle a call with snakes involved. Oh and when we first got there was told that we got the good room. It was our joke the whole week because if they were the good rooms would love to see the bad ones.

Rooms were musty and smelly. Dinners was terrible - overcooked and salty. We went for a family reunion, paid a huge price for almost no entertainment, rowdy crowds and terrible rooms.

Staff were fairly nice but had no idea of anything happening at the resort.

Breakfasts were good.

Our stay was on a Monday and Tuesday with a Wednesday departure so it was pretty quiet. Room was clean, carpet clean. Seemed like it had been recently painted

In the evenings with a semi crowded indoor bar service was a little slow. It seemed to get worse when the crowd thinned because the bartender at times was nowhere to be found to the point where we had to call her name for service.

The tiki bar bartender got a little snarky with us when we found the barstools to be a little uncomfortable and moved over to a table under the gazebo. Thinking that we stiffed her out of a tip she made a remark about it behind my back as I walked away. When I turned and asked her about her remark she played it off like she was talking to someone else. She failed to realize that I dont tip by the drink but rather at the end of my session.

As hot as it was I had no desire to go in the pool because the water was murky. Seriously, how long does it take for an employee to do an hourly or even daily p/h test of the pool water and add whatever chemicals it takes to maintain clear swimmable water ? That was a disappointment.

Breakfast was good, omletts made to order. Dinner was good as well with two choices of entrees. Our server Brooke was attentive and sweet.

Would I go back to this place, yeah probably because my girlfriend liked it. However I might research other places first.

Hopefully management reads the comments on this board and addresses the issues their customers have with their hotel

Room Tip: We liked room 111. Clean room. Set back from the pool recreational area. little patio with table and...

Went for a 4th of July Motorcycle Group stay. Manager did not tell people upfront it would be an additional $65 dollars per single occupancy in the email sent to us or over the phone when reserving room. Once checked in we were told we got the better of the two rooms...If that was the better, I would hate to see the worst. Cobwebs, hair in tub, air conditioning barely worked, musty smelling room, mattresses old and saggy, refridge did not keep anything cold...room was a throw back from the 60s. Pool area was disgusting dirty diapers, bandaids and trash not picked up from day before. Would not recommend at all!!!
Positives, Housekeeper was nice and food was good.
