Owner description: Opened in 1930, as one, small shop, Vidler's has grown to become the largest 5 & 10 store in the world! Today the third generation of the Vidler family runs the store which has become a local landmark and destination point for shoppers near and far. A great place for the entire family and out-of-town guests, we are an old fashioned five and dime store, and so much more! With 2 levels occupying 4 connected, 19th century buildings, our many counters overflow with a wide variety of merchandise. From nostalgic candy and toys, kitchen gadgets and crafts to the newest items for the recreational shopper, our distinctive shops feature gifts, home decor, jewelry, candles and seasonal decor. A one-of-a-kind shopping experience awaits you at Vidler's, located on East Aurora's historic, red-brick Main Street.

This is a combo of new and nostalgic items, you'll find a little of everything, old items your mom used in the house, old toys you remember your kids playing with them, new toys items are there to find. Must take your time, stroll around and then go back again, you'll find things you missed the first time. I always find something new to see/buy. It's never too early/late to buy for the upcoming holidays. will go again in a few months to find more "stuff"

This is a great place to find souvenirs or just something special for yourself. Of course, there are t-shirts and hats and greeting cards; but there are also old fashion candies, board games and toys that don’t need batteries. Downstairs there are kitchen goods that will make your life easier. Be sure to save at least an hour, you’ll need it just to look through all the store carefully. I took my visitors from Japan and they didn’t want to leave!

What an experience. Four store fronts and several levels. Virtually anything you are looking for and lots of things you didn't know you needed are here. Definitely a place to visit in Buffalo area.

Vidler’s is extremely fun to visit! They have gifts and trinkets and toys for all ages. It’s very entertaining to browse and search for gifts, and along the way, you’ll probably find something you never knew you needed! Allow plenty of time to wander through all of the different rooms.
I enjoy stopping at Vidler’s around Christmas and Easter in particular, because it’s easy to find a few "different" little stocking/ basket stuffers.
Free parking lot in the back. Friendly staff.

Super fun visit to this nostalgic AND tons of trinkets store. From old fashioned wax lips, sugar daddy’s to little handy man clamps... this store keeps your interest on all floors!
Ladies.... there is an entire kitchen trinket section with all the most unusual little handy tools. For dads, there are fun prank toys for you and little boys. Kids will have a ball in this store if you have done Niagara Falls and want to take a little ride to this fun place. (5&10 prices) nothing is expensive and lots and lots to look at! You will laugh and stroll down memory lane. Have a blast here but go slow and take your time. Lots of fun kookie things to check out!
