“Doesn't live up to the hype”

My wife and I stopped in here over the holidays while visiting friends in Buffalo. Very average food at best. If you aren't into burgers, take a pass. Did not live up to expectations. Service very slow!

“big burger!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2009

just visited after seeing this on ddd. The place is small so you definitely dont want to go there during busy hours. My wife and I arrived at 2:30 at were seated about 3:10.

My wife said the cheeseburger soup was delicious. I had a bite and it was very good. The burgers (bacon cheeseburger) was huge. We split the burger and had a split order of fries/onion rings. The bill was $22 which included a 2 beers and a soft drink.

If you have time to spare you definitely want to check this place out.

“Great bar/restaurant with great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2009

The food at this place is out of this world, and the portions are huge! When you order a burger, you're not going to get a small patty on a small bun. The service is excellent, and the waiters are very attentive. The only issue is the noise level -- it is loud. But if you want great food, great service, ambience and history (this was President Grover Cleveland's hunting lodge), you should definitely give this place a try. NOTE: It is a popular place, so lines for seating can be lengthy, especially when the Bills or Sabres are playing.
