Good service, good beer, great prices, meal specials were adequate, food was fair to good. Good deal for three hungry fishermen. Waitress was very attentive and knew her stuff

A group of friends dinned at the kettle and keg last night to celebrate two birthdays, one being mine.
Several of us ordered the "supersonic meatball sub" while others had spaghetti or eggplant. All were very pleased with their meals and the most reasonable prices for the food and beverages.
I had the "supersonic meatball sub" which was very large and came on toasted French bread along with fries and gravy for dipping the fries in (a local thing I think).
This is a very casual place with great service, prices, and food fare.

Conveniently located and have great specials every night of the week. Great fish fry on Fridays and prime rib for two on Saturdays. Sunday...name your own from any day of the week!

We have dined at Payne's many a time. The food has always been top notch as well as most generous in quanity.
Very casual atmosphere and great service are a hallmark of this eatery.
The burgers, fish fry are great as well as the chicken Parm and eggplant.
There are specials every day of the week and on Sunday you can make any of the weeks specials a Sunday special.
Dinning is available in the bar area as well as the back room.
On Fridays the very reasonably priced fish fry can be had for $2.00 less prior to 5:00pm.
Great place for casual dinning at an affordable price.

We ate at the Kettle and Keg on 7/7/12. We selected the prime rib for $19.95 FOR TWO! For your $19.95 you also get your choice of potatoe and a salad. First, please don't confuse this restaurant with a steak house. The cuts we received were about 6 to 8 ounces cooked. We both asked for medium rare, we received cuts that were much closer to medium. As an aside the table next had a guest who ordered the prime rib cooked rare and had sent the plate back twice before we left, due to over cooking.
Again, given the price I can be a bit more forgiving. Please remember this if you visit. Another guest ordered the wings and they said the wings were great.
If you're on a budget I would say if the Kettle and Keg a try.
