We stayed at the bungalow which is just off the deck from the main house and just a few feet from Seneca Lake. We had wonderful views of the sunrise and the lake. The bungalow is a cozy room with a queen size bed, AC, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, tv with DVD, shower, small closet, sliding glass door into the deck.
Machelle was so helpful, friendly and attentive, she paid special attention to all details. She provides a wide range of amenities, including wi-fi, a computer is available to those who didn’t bring a lap top, chimena, BBQ, table & chairs, canoe, etc.
After a day at the wineries, we lit the chimena and opened a bottle of wine and looked out into the lake. It was truly a relaxing, beautiful and romantic weekend.
We are looking to return in the very near future and spend more time. The views are awesome and breakfast was superb. We highly recommend anyone to this wonderful inn.

Once you get past the drive down to Nauitical Nights, you'll know it was well worth it. We stayed in the Tiny Bubbles room which had a bedroom with a sliding door that opened up to your porch right on the lake. The bedroom had an AC as well as little fireplace/heater. The bathroom is very spacious with a shower, tub for two, and a closet, and also had a sliding door. You get to take advantage of the beach and kayak as well, but the porch is great all on its own. We would definitely come back, just wish we had more time to just relax by the lake!

Stayed here for 2 nights in July, 2006. From the moment we arrived, the owner's attention to detail, warmth and hospitality made our stay simply amazing! The ads tout Nautical Nights as being "so close to the water that you'll feel you're on a houseboat" and that is absolutely true! Imagine the gentle waves of Seneca Lake lulling you to sleep each night and waking up to the same sound each morning...breathtaking! The B&B offers 3 rooms...two in the main house and one private bungalow adjacent to the main house. Each of the 3 rooms has a private bathroom...we stayed in "Tiny Bubbles" which featured a large bathroom with a jetted tub. Our room was pristine...exceptionally clean and welcoming. Our room as well as the other one in the main house opened directly onto a large deck that ran the length of the house and went right over the water. The breakfast buffet (delicious!) was served at the other end of the deck each morning of our stay. A kayak and canoe are provided for guest use. Another charming aspect of our stay was Tori, the canine "owner" who was great company! It is important to note that the serenity and peace of Nautical Nights is found at the end of a narrow, unpaved road that becomes quite steep at the end but it is well worth it for the beauty that awaits at the bottom! It is located right on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and almost exactly between Watkins Glen at the Southern end and Geneva to the north. My husband and I both have never had such a glorious and relaxing vacation and we are already counting the days until we can return!!!!!!

Communication ahead of time with Machelle, the owner, was helpful and available. Very friendly. The driveway down to the B&B is scary! Very steep. The place is RIGHT on the lake, very beautiful. Our room was great. Floor to cieling windows, sliding glass door onto the porch, right over the water. The bed was comfy, although the foam pillows were too stiff, large, and just terrible. The shower for two (in the Salmon Room) was great, pretty bathroom. I had ordered baloons for my boyfriend'd bday before hand to be delivered, and they were placed in the room before we got there - very nice.
Only 2 major complaints of the room was that that the curtains did NOT block out any light, and it was bright and sunny way before 6 am! So bright we couldn't sleep, and my boyfriend sleeps though anything. They need some darkening curtains, consindering the entire wall facing the sun/water is glass. Also, there is a free standing AC unit in the room, which was not strong enough and didn't cool the room enough, and we had to empty the water container from the unit every few hours! When it got full, it beeped loudly and shut off! We emptied it close to midnight before going to sleep, and it was full and beeping again around 6am :(
Breakfast was ok, tasty but limited. Coffee not ready till 8, would like it available earlier.
Chairs on the deck outside out rooms were great and relaxing. You truly can't beat the veiw. We did wine tasting one day and sailed on the Seneca Lake the next (Seneca Day sails, just wonderful!)
Overall we had a nice time. The view was unbeatable. The AC and light situations may keep me from returning though..
