“Royal treatment with genuine hospitality!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

The home is absolutely beautiful and we felt we were stepping into our past except this time we were living like royalty. We were pleasantly surprised at the modern convenience of a large bedroom and private bath but at the same time that it was decorated with furnishings and decor of the Victorian era. It is a historical treat right down to the player piano .
Chuck and Gerry are truly amazing. Not only do they make you feel welcome, you feel they are close friends or family from the moment you meet them but it gets even better when you discover that Chuck is a gourmet chef and serves the most delicious breakfast you will ever eat ..we have been in France and eaten French cuisine and I can honestly say his breakfast was better than any I had ever eaten.
I would highly recommend staying here if you want to experience absolute perfection in every realm of a bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: The Royal room was worth the extra pricing, large room and King size bed.

Gerry and I continue to be amazed and blessed by the kind comments that our guests have left for us. Even more a blessing are the friendships we have gained. You two are a great example of both! We won't forget you or your invitation to visit if we ever make it to Arizona. Thanks!

Chuck and Gerri are perfection in hospitality. Chuck, a trained chef, serves up a 3-course breakfast in the morning while educating guests on the role of each course (without being pompous). In the afternoon, Gerri serves up some freshly baked cookies or fresh fruit from the local Mennonite farms. This is a special place owned by very special people.

And most special of all...we are getting married in the ladies parlor later this summer with dinner prepared by Chuck....perfection!

If you’re looking for a better B&B you’re fooling yourself. Gerry and Chuck have somehow perfected the art of providing genuine hospitality at an immaculate property full of abundant character. The food…the company…the comfort level of the room…everything was off the charts during our visit. We can’t wait to return. Thanks to them for such a memorable stay!

For us history buffs, life in Victorian times was pleasantly recalled and comfortably simulated at the l897 Beekman House. The period furniture, music room, gentlemen's parlor with its wild animal wallpaper and crocheted doilies all invoked life of the upper classes before the turn of the last century. Even the clop-pety-clop of horse drawn Mennonite buggies that went by on "courting night" (Sunday) added to the verisimilitude of the Beekman House's origins. We stayed in the Isadora room. named after the "little girl" whose bedroom this was and who, at the age of 90, still visits her childhood home on occasion. Service, delicious 'from scratch" gourmet breakfasts and attention to guest's comforts, courtesy of Chef Chuck and wife Gerry, is as perfect as one might expect in Victorian times. Shades of Darnton Abbey- American style !

Room Tip: There are four rooms, two face Main St., two the side yard, all air-conditioned. Grounds are attrac...

We travel frequently for business and rarely find a place that we would rate as excellent....but here you have it!!! Can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. FANTASTIC food, lovely rooms, everything was extremely clean (very important to us) and Gerry and Chuck were great! There when you needed them, but discrete the rest of the stay. We were leery about staying in a B&B as we normally stay in hotels, but this was the best decision we could have made.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Room Tip: We had the Royal Suite, which was wonderful....but honestly....they all looked great!!

If you are looking for a B & B that is beautiful, welcoming and immaculate this is the place. Not only do the Inn keeper's Chuck and Gerry treat you like royalty, they go out of their way to make sure your entire stay is stress-free.
Chuck arranged our limo (Quality Wine Tours) to take us on our tours. Our driver Steve was amazing!! The B & B is in a great location to tour as many wineries, breweries and distilleries you can fit in 6 hours. We were able to visit 16 locations in two days and that includes taking time out for lunch.
I can't leave this review without mentioning the creative and delicious breakfast that Chuck had waiting for us each morning. Chuck is a professional chef and his breakfast is a true testament to his outstanding ability.
You will be missing out on a wonderful experience if you pass up this little slice of heaven.

The Beekman B&B was an amazing experience for us. We needed to get away from everyday life stresses and go somewhere that we would feel at home, comfortable, stress free, and pampered. Wow did we find the place. Our hosts Chuck and Gerry were a dream come true for us. They met us at the front door and made us feel at home immediately. Their home was beautifully decorated and the architectural details and woodwork left us in awe. Our room was comfortable, very clean and met all our needs.
We had not celebrated our 40th anniversary away, alone, in February, and this was our window of opportunity. Chef Chuck put his culinary talents forward by preparing a special dinner for us with pared wines, to complement each course. This meal was unforgettable and Gerry made sure everything was perfect during our special meal, truly a 5 star experience.
Each morning we got out of bed looking forward to what Chef Chuck created for, breakfast. The morning meal was prepared with creativity, flavorful and always left us wondering what great creation he would find to start our next day. After a long day exploring, we found delightful surprises waiting; hot cookies, gruyere cheese puffs, brownies, cheese and wine to name a few.
We came to the Finger Lakes with no plans; Gerry and Chuck were very helpful planning our day. They told us where to find breathtaking waterfalls and the best wineries, to sample the local wines.
The front porch was a wonderful place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the towns people at rush hour, which lasted 20 minutes, maybe. Anyone coming to the Finger Lakes region would be missing an amazing B&B opportunity, if they chose anywhere else to stay.
Gerry and Chuck are warm, friendly people and we feel very blessed to have met them and left our new friends teary eyed. We are planning our next trip to the Beekman in the near future.
