So glad you enjoyed your tasting with us during Preferred Pairings. It was a pleasure to work with Carmella Hoffman from Sunset View Creamery of Odessa, NY to offer delicious cheeses and our award-winning wines. We hope you'll come back and see us again - cheers! Thanks for stopping to taste with us. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Pinot Noir. We'll have some new wines coming out this year in celebration of our 25th anniversary - including a new red wine called Zweigelt. You'll have to come back for a taste! Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I'll pass it along to our great tasting room staff. Brittany Morris, Advertising Director

“Surprised by the wine”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

The wine at this winery is really good, we did tastings of several wines and were happy with all of them. We purchased the Burntray as it was unique to us. The staff at the tasting bar was pleasant and knowledgeable, but maybe a little quiet and stand offish; we had to ask a lot of questions to get the information. The store itself offers a wide variety of supplies for home making wine, and plenty of "wine swag" and other seasonal decor.

Thanks for stopping to taste with us and for taking the time to write a review. Sounds like one of our staff members was having an off day - no excuse for that and we apologize. Glad you got the information you were looking for though and found your tasting experience to be informative. We have a great staff with wonderful personalities and they are a wealth of information. I'm sure they'll be back on their a-game when you taste with us next time! Brittany Morris, Advertising Director

“Excellent service, juice, and supplies”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

I didn't taste any wines here, but my friends and I went home with nearly 50 gal. of juices of various varieties for excellent prices. We got tips and great service. Ever been to a winery where the servers clearly have no idea about the wine they're serving? (We witnessed a server at Three Brothers who served us Cabernet--with a "T"--rather than Cabernet with an "ay." I think he avoided "Sauvignon" for clear reasons.) The people at Fulkerson's, on the other hand, REALLY know what they're talking about with their wines.

“Bought Juice to Make Wine”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Fulkerson Winery is one of the few wineries in the Finger Lakes Region that sells grape juice. We are very fond of New York wines and since my husband rec'd a wine making kit for Father's Day he's been wanting to make a batch. If you look at their web site early to mid summer you will see all of the varieties they offer. Some have to be reserved ahead of time, others are available for anyone who stops in. We wanted to try making a Riesling so we ordered ahead of time. You can either bring your own vessel or they will use gallon milk jugs. We bought six gallons as that's what our vessel holds. We noticed a lot of people just buying Concord grape juice just for their own consumption. The winery offers an hour long wine making class. Very informal but can assist you with any questions you may have. There's a cute gift shop and of course wine tasting. We had a great time and will be back for more juice next year.

So glad you found us for your fresh grape juice. As a heads up, we do recommend calling in advance to reserve ANY juices you're interested in. Making a reservation is the only way we can guarantee that a particular juice will be here for you when you arrive. Also remember that even once you go home, you can shop our winemaking and brewing supplies conveniently via our website. We look forward to seeing you again next season!
